The IWV library in Ridgecrest has four private rooms for groups to use for studying. The largest of these rooms can accommodate up to 8 people at a time. The rooms feature dry-erase white boards. Dry-erase markers and cleaning cloths are available upon request at the Library circulation desk.
Study rooms are available on a first come, first serve basis, but may be reserved in advance by notifying library staff. Reservations can be made as needed via email, phone, or in person. Standing or recurring reservations can also be made - however, these may be cancelled if there are two no-show events in a row.
Study rooms are available for free to the students, faculty, and staff of Cerro Coso. Community patrons are also welcome to use them for free on a first-come, first-serve basis when available.
Community patrons interested in reserving a room, either in the library or elsewhere on campus, should contact Crystal Leffler, the college administrative secretary, at (760) 384-6230, to sign the necessary forms for campus facilities usage and inquire about fee schedules.
