Wi-Fi is available for free throughout all Cerro Coso campuses.

Students and Employees

1. Select the “KCCDsecure” network from the list of wi-fi networks on your device.
2. Enter your college email under “Identity” and related password in the spaces provided.
3. Click Connect.
4. If “KCCDsecure” does not work for you, try logging in to “KCCDopen.”

Community Members

1. Select the “KCCDopen” network from the list of wi-fi networks on your device.
2. Open the web browser on your device.
3. Click the Visitor, Contractor, or Vendor link, and fill out the applicable information. You will need a cell phone and email address to register for a guest account, which expires after 24 hours.

Computers

All Cerro Coso libraries and learning resource centers have desktop workstations available for quiet research and study. All computers are available on a first come, first serve basis. Check with your local campus LRCs for more information about availability and printing.

Students and employees should log in with their college email addresses and passwords. Members of the public will need to request community member access at the library staff desk.

Laptops & iPads (IWV)

The IWV campus library also has laptops and iPads available for use in the library. Printing is not available through laptops at this time. To borrow a laptop for the semester, please fill out the Student Laptop Lending form through the Cerro Coso website.

All computer and internet use on campus is subject to the computer use rules.

Calculators (IWV)

The library has a collection of TI-84 Plus calculators available for checkout. They may leave the library, but must be returned before the end of the day on which they are checked out.

Headphones & Mice (IWV)

Headphones and mice are available for checkout to use in the library.

Charging Station (IWV)

The library has a charging station, which includes Type C cables (x3), Micro cables (x2) and iPhone lighting cables (x3).

Outlets

Outlets are available throughout the library through plugs on tables and walls. Each study room is also equipped with outlets on tables.
