Have you visited the satellite campuses of Cerro Coso Community College? If not, we highly recommend stopping by. Our library technicians (and student worker!) took an enjoyable field trip from Ridgecrest to Bishop and Mammoth to inventory the LRC book collections this past May. We were blown away by the incredible views along the way and were excited to find that Mammoth still had snow on the ground!
Not only do these sites have computers and a great collection of current textbooks on reserve in the learning resource centers, but the colleges themselves are simply beautiful. The Bishop campus also has a reference collection featuring local Eastern Sierra history.
