You may have heard by now that the planet is currently closed.
Fortunately, this is a bit of an exaggeration. Cerro Coso is still open for business (albeit virtually) and your library staff is still working hard to serve our students (albeit from the comfort of our own homes). We have created a new guide which provides information on COVID-19 as well as resources that may help you find financial assistance, activities to keep children (and yourself) busy, and ways to lower stress in these very stressful times. The guide also includes library resources and, most importantly, information for contacting librarians in a variety of ways, such as email, chat, and Zoom. If you need research and citation help, don't hesitate to reach out and ask a question or make an appointment. We are here for you!

Due to staff relocation, the library also has several new unofficial employees. Aurora, also known as Rory, is our new resident cataloger and quality control manager. She tends to patrol the evening shift, ensuring that the workspace is free of bugs, errant scraps of paper, and snacks. Her hobbies include sleeping, napping, and nocturnal parkour.
